It’ll be “lights, camera, action!” at Staffordshire auction house Cuttlestones’ Penkridge sale room on November the 27th as the BBC’s ‘Cash in the Attic’ descends on its Fine Art sale. And this is no ordinary edition of the show, as celebrity contestants - former BBC Radio 1 DJ Liz Kershaw and Syd Little, one half of comedy duo Little & Large - will be auctioning off some of their cherished items in the name of charity.
The celebrities will be joined by presenter Jenny Bond and antiques experts as the sale of their lots is filmed. And this is cause for double celebration for Cuttlestones - the Friday 27th Fine Art sale promises to be the Staffordshire auction house’s biggest and best yet - as MD and head auctioneer Ben Gamble explains:
“We’ve got a fantastic catalogue of lots for the November the 27th Fine Art sale and have been anticipating a very busy auction - the presence of the TV crew and celebrities will be the icing on the cake! If you’re interested in bidding on one of the celebrities’ lots but can’t make it down to the sale room you needn’t worry – if you’ve got a computer with internet access you can bid live online; just visit our website to find out how.”
Cash in the Attic will be filming at the Cuttlestones Fine Art sale which is set to take place at the sale room off Pinfold Lane, Penkridge from 11am on Friday, 27th November. Lots will be available to view on Thursday 26th November from 10am and the morning of the sale from 9am.
The catalogue will be available online from Friday, 20th November - for further details contact bengamble@cuttlestones.co.uk or call 01785 714905.
