Cuttlestones Auctioneers and Vaulers. Penkridge Auction Rooms

Get your hands on some summer garden bargains – in the snow!

A small selection of the garden effects that will
come under the hammer at Cuttlestones
auction house, Penkridge, next week.

Conditions may be arctic outside but, at Staffordshire auction house Cuttlestones, canny gardeners could get their green fingers on some bargain items that’ll ensure their gardens are a picture of perfection come the summer months.

Due to go under the hammer at the Penkridge-based auction room next Wednesday, 13th January from 10am, there’s a large quantity of items on offer including planters, ornaments and troughs in a variety of styles; ranging from rustic to ornate. The consignment has come as something of a surprise, given the chilly weather we’re experiencing, as head auctioneer and managing director, Ben Gamble, explains:

Next Wednesday is our first sale of the New Year and, although we’ve got a catalogue packed with some great general household items - including white goods, electrical appliances and furniture - this last minute entry was unexpected to say the least. However, there are some prime pieces available that would add real style to any garden, so opportunistic gardeners could bag themselves a real bargain while others are still in hibernation!

Viewing is from 2pm-6pm on Tuesday, 12th January, when the catalogue will also be available online at www.cuttlestones.co.uk. For more details, call 01785 714905.
