Autumn 2011 will see Cuttlestones expand to bring its winning formula to new premises in central Wolverhampton. The aim is to bring its excellent levels of customer service and progressive approach to the residents of Wolverhampton, Birmingham and the surrounding towns and villages; providing them with their own ‘local auction house with the global reach’.

Located in the city centre, Cuttlestones’ Wolverhampton Sale Room will breathe life back into a building that was last used as an auction house at least a decade earlier and had lain dormant for several years; thus filling a distinct gap in the local area for the services of a quality auction house.

From its Wolverhampton base, which has been extensively refurbished into a state-of-the-art sale room to provide a fitting backdrop to the high profile Specialist Collectors’ Sales and other auctions to which it plays host, Cuttlestones offers all the services one would expect of a progressive, modern auction house – with a personal touch. Residents of Wolverhampton, Birmingham, Solihull, Tettenhall and other surrounding towns and villages will now benefit from a range of discreet, professional services that include valuations for sale or insurance and house clearances in addition to the sale of items by auction.
