Penkridge auction house Cuttlestones will be making one of its regular TV appearances next month, as one of the venues for the new series of Make Me A Dealer.
The BBC show sees presenter Paul Martin take to the road as he searches the length and breadth of Britain in pursuit of a new generation of moneymaking antiques dealers. Two episodes were filmed at Cuttlestones back in the summer; with saw two sets of keen amateur dealers investing their own money in collectables before trying to sell them on for a profit.
Ben Gamble, MD and Head Auctioneer of Cuttlestones, which has sale rooms in both Penkridge and Wolverhampton, says:
“We always welcome the BBC TV crew at Cuttlestones, and the Make Me A Dealer format is an interesting departure from the traditional formats that gives a far more realistic insight into what it takes to make it as antiques dealer. We really look forward to seeing the episodes air on TV in November – it’s always fun spotting our sale room regulars in the background!”
Cuttlestones will feature on Make Me A Dealer on BBC1 at 4.30pm on Tuesday 5th and Tuesday 26th November.
